MBB Charity hires Interim CEO
MBB Charity is pleased to announce the hiring of Christopher DiCarlo, a seasoned nonprofit professional with more than 20 years of experience, as Interim CEO. Chris’ nonprofit background includes strategy development, increasing program impact and building financial systems.
Chris’ work on five different continents has contributed to a cross-cultural mindset that has been instrumental in formulating his approach to solving problems. He has travelled to more than 50 countries and spent several years living outside the United States.
Serving at-risk constituencies in the developing world and the U.S. have been a major part of his motivation to improve the nonprofit sector.
Chris was born and raised in New York City where he spent a great deal of time playing tennis and rooting for his beloved New York Mets. He is a proud graduate of Regis High School, whose Jesuit tradition helped shape his life-long commitment to serving vulnerable populations. Following this, Chris went on to earn a BA from Dartmouth College (in History/Art History) where he received a James K. Colby scholarship related to his public service. Chris also holds MBA and MPP degrees from the University of Chicago.
Chairman of the Board Stan Block commented, “After a five month search and reviewing 19 candidates from across the nation, we were pleased to select Chris DiCarlo as Interim CEO of the Mind-Body Bridging Charity. His background, experience and managerial skills, as well as his reputation as a leader in the nonprofit sector, makes Chris a perfect fit to lead the organization forward.”
